Triptyc

This three part work shows different ways of connecting human endeavour with the nature surrounding us.
Part one, “Winter - Ebb Tide…” alludes to our hope of harvest through the archaic ritual of planting the seed, and the dream of survival just another year. Part two, “The Rite of Spring” celebrates the task of breaching the gap, and the beauty of safe arrival on the other side.
Part three, “Presence of Distance”, still a work in progress, is to be centred around the sea and the ever-present horizon.
